She completed four years of undergraduate studies in Exercise Science at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, three years completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at St. Catherine's University in St. Paul, Minnesota before being selected as a resident in Fairview's Sports Residency program. During her year-long residency, she worked with the University of Minnesota, Augsburg College and with local high schools to treat athletic injury and focus on return to sport. Being trained in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) techniques, she has a more holistic approach to physical therapy where she has a great understanding of interconnectedness in the body and has a passion for treating the whole individual, not simply the parts. She has a special interest in treating shoulders, hips, knees, ankles, but enjoys working collaboratively with our Doctors of Chiropractic to treat injuries related to the spine.
As a former collegiate volleyball player and coach, she enjoys providing dynamic sports and orthopedic physical therapy care to motivated individuals to restore function, improve movement, and return patients to their active lifestyle.
