Posture is the position in which someone holds their body when standing or sitting. Optimal posture is when you hold your body in a position that will put the least amount of strain on the joints and muscles while standing and moving.
Most of our adult life is spent sitting while looking at a screen. If this is not done in an ergonomic fashion, we teach muscles and joints to be in an abnormal position which leads to pain, degeneration of joints and discs, and decreased mobility.
