TPI Medical Certification from Titleist
Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Provider
The TPI movement analysis is a movement based diagnostic system, designed to clinically assess the golf swing. Titleist created this certification as a golf specific version of another certification that our Boulder Chiropractor has been trained in, the SFMA.
The game of golf has reached a point where its participants do not need convincing that better fitness, biomechanics and health will improve their chances of playing their best. Today’s golfers need to be convinced that their instructors are up to date with the latest information on the sport.
Golfers want to trust that their practitioner understands the specific needs of a golfer. TPI Certification gives golfers that trust!
TPI has spent almost two decades studying one thing – the Body-Swing Connection™. There are injuries associated with the golf swing that few understand better than TPI. Medical Certification looks at how these injuries develop, how to access and treat injuries and how specific physical limitations can be addressed to improve performance.
This TPI movement assessment is a great tool to accurately diagnose the ROOT cause of the problem. We know you have pain when you swing a golf club, TPI helps us pinpoint WHY you have the pain and what we need to do to eliminate it.
As a TPI specialist, your Chiropractor at Boulder Sports will use the TPI system, which is a whole-body movement analysis that starts at the neck and moves all the way down to the toes. It not only helps identify sources of pain, it also allows us to find the sources of weakness. The TPI movement analysis is a powerful tool to find limiting factors in golfers allowing us to help improve your performance!
The movement screen is a great place to start for adults looking to get back into golf without risking injury or to make sure your young golfer is not developing bad habits for their sport. The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) system can be a great tool for athletes to use at the start of the off season – helping to identify weakness that should be addressed before the start of the next season.
At Boulder Sports Chiropractic, we use the TPI movement analysis with all of our patients who golf to more accurately diagnose your injury. We care about educating you in the process so that you are able to prevent additional injuries in the future. Our team likes to take a big picture approach to treatment and we treat beyond just the physical aspect with our physical therapy and chiropractic care. Dr. Steve Brown looks forward to helping you increase your golf fitness and golf performance in Boulder.
